This circuit can generate rectangular and triangular signals from a single 5 V power supply.  This circuit is suggested by Texas Instruments, based on the LinMOS TLC272 integrated circuit, but equivalents can be experimented with virtually no component value change.

   In figure 1 we have the oscillator that uses two operational amplifiers of the TLC272 integrated circuit.

The frequency of the generated signal depends basically on C and the resistors according to the formula given in the diagram. For the purpose of frequency changes it is recommended to keep the values ​​of the original resistors in the diagram and only recalculate C.

   The maximum frequency that this circuit can generate is around 1 MHz, but faster amplifiers can be used if the player wants a higher value. In figure 2 we have a suggestion of printed circuit board for implementation of the oscillator.
